This Cookie Policy explains how Primero Systems® Inc. (“Primero,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing websites at kiluma.ai and primerosystems.com (the “Marketing Sites”). It supplements, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy. Cookies and advertising technologies described here are used on the Marketing Sites only; they are not used to track individuals within the authenticated Kiluma™ product.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as tags, pixels, and local storage. They can be “session” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” (remaining until they expire or you delete them), and “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a partner such as Google).
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary — required for the Marketing Sites to function (security, load balancing, and remembering your consent choices). These are always active and do not require consent.
Functional / preferences — remember choices such as language or region to improve your experience.
Analytics / performance — help us understand how visitors use the Marketing Sites so we can measure and improve them. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose.
Advertising / targeting — used for cross-context behavioral advertising and to measure our marketing. We use Google Analytics Advertising Features, which may include Google Signals, remarketing and audiences, demographics and interests reporting, and Google Ads linking and conversion measurement.
3. Your choices and how we obtain consent
We manage non-essential cookies through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with Google Consent Mode.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland: we set analytics and advertising cookies only after you give opt-in consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the banner’s controls.
United States: you may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising) through the “Your Privacy Choices” control on the Marketing Sites, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signals sent by your browser or device.
Everywhere: you can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google’s advertising features through Google’s Ads Settings, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Marketing Sites function.
4. Google Analytics and Advertising Features
Where these features are enabled, data collected on the Marketing Sites is shared with Google and may be used to build advertising audiences and measure campaigns. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor and such processing occurs only with your consent; personal data transferred to Google in the United States is protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK and Swiss addenda). Google’s own handling of the data is described in Google’s privacy policy and its Google Analytics Advertising Features policies.
5. Do Not Track
Our Marketing Sites do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
6. Retention of consent records
We keep records of the cookie-consent choices you make for approximately twenty-four (24) months, as described in our internal Data Retention Schedule, so we can demonstrate and honor your choices.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; material changes will be communicated as described in the “Changes to These Terms” section of the Terms of Service.
