General Atomics Corporation selected Primero Systems to participate in the modernization of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center's Integrated Blade Repair Center (IBRC) at Tinker Air Force base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The facility repairs U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy turbine engine blades at a rate of approximately 500,000 per year. These repairs are conducted in a 125,000 sq. foot facility that utilizes an automated conveyor and storage/retrieval system.
We developed a resource planning system that manages the scheduling and routing of inventory, as well as the reporting, and archiving of blade repair information. The installed application directs a wide range of material handling equipment to deliver blades to workstations where repair operations are completed.
